What's in a CSV export
Exports come in three shapes, and which one you want depends on the question. Season stats give one row per player per season with the aggregate figures — strokes-gained categories, scoring, rankings and the counting stats — which is the right shape for comparing players across years. Event results give one row per start: the tournament, the course, the finish position, each round score, the total and the score to par, plus the strokes-gained figures for that event where the tour measured them. Round scores go one level finer, a row per round played. Every column is a value the tour published; nothing in an export is computed by OTIS except the arrangement.
How to build a custom dataset
The builder works in the order you would expect: choose the players you want, choose the seasons, choose which columns to include, then check the live preview before you download anything. The preview is the actual data rather than a sample, so you can confirm the shape is right before committing to a file — which matters more than it sounds when the alternative is opening a CSV in a spreadsheet and discovering the columns are wrong. Selections are built from the same published data the profile pages show, so an export and a page will never disagree. Browsing and previewing are free and need no account; a free account raises the row limit on a single export.
Where the exported data comes from
Everything in an export originates with the PGA Tour's published statistics, read through its public data feed. OTIS does not own the underlying numbers and makes no claim to them; what it provides is the collection, the arrangement and the export. If you republish anything drawn from here, cite the PGA Tour as the source of the data — that is both accurate and the courteous thing to do. Blank cells in an export mean the tour published no value for that player, season or round. They are never zeros, and they should not be treated as zeros in any analysis: the difference between unmeasured and unremarkable is the most common way golf statistics get misread.

Can I download PGA Tour statistics as a CSV?

Do I need an account to download data from OTIS Golf?
- Browsing the site and previewing an export are always free and need no account. A free account is only required to export a large number of rows in one file.
What do blank cells mean in an OTIS Golf export?
- They mean the PGA Tour published no value for that player, season or round — most often because the round was not ShotLink-measured. They are not zeros and should not be analysed as zeros.
Can I republish data downloaded from OTIS Golf?
- The underlying figures are the PGA Tour's published statistics and OTIS claims no ownership of them. If you republish anything taken from here, cite the PGA Tour as the source of the data.
