What's on tour this week

This page follows the current PGA Tour event from the moment the field is announced to the moment the last putt drops. Before play starts it shows the field and, once the tour publishes them, the groupings and tee times. During play it becomes the live leaderboard. Alongside sit the venue's forecast — with wind as the headline number, because wind is the condition that actually moves scoring — and the course-fit model for the week. When the tour is between events the page says so plainly rather than showing a stale leaderboard from last week. Nothing here is written in advance: every figure is the tour's own live or published data for the event in progress. Once an event finishes it moves into the tournament archive with its full final leaderboard, where it keeps every round score and finish position permanently.

How the live leaderboard updates

Scores come from the PGA Tour's own live feed and refresh every fifteen minutes while play is under way. That is deliberately not instantaneous: this is a reference for reading a tournament, not a second-by-second scoreboard, and a page that rewrites itself constantly is harder to read than one that does not. Each row carries position, total to par, the round score and holes played, and every player links to their full profile, so you can go from a name on the leaderboard to fifteen seasons of their record in one click. The timestamp of the most recent refresh is shown on the page, so you always know how old the numbers in front of you are rather than having to guess.

How to read the field list

The field list is every player the tour has entered for the week, shown with their world ranking where one exists. Withdrawals are struck through rather than deleted, because a player pulling out is information — it changes the shape of the field and, if it happens before the first round, who got in from the alternate list. Amateurs are marked, since their presence affects prize distribution and they are frequently the answer to “who is that?”. Tee times appear only once the tour publishes the draw, which it does the day before each round; until then the page says they are not out yet instead of showing an empty table. The field count shown excludes alternates who never got in.
